September's Focus

I am really excited about this month's focus!  Because we change seasons in September and since most of us are now Back to School, it is a perfect time to catch up on all of those things we have been meaning to get around to.

Three times a year we are going to have this chance, and I have been really looking forward to it.  When I decided to do a monthly focus for this blog, I was sure to put "I've been meaning to..." as a focus as much as I could fit it in, and the season's changes (except for Winter which is in December and already too busy) seemed to be a natural fit.

This month I will highlight for you the things that I am going to check off my list that I have been meaning to get around to.  I would love to hear what items have been nagging at you and how you are going to work on them.  The possibilities are endless.

Remember the Kwal Paint coupon from last week?  Yep, today I am going to work on touch up painting.  Nearly every room needs it, especially my kids rooms.  I swear they must throw things at the walls just for the fun of it.

Good luck and Happy Fall!

Use some Liquid Vinyl. It has a great sheen that helps you clean up the kid's room's walls without touch ups. Good luck! I used it in my toddler's room.

I love that you do "touch up" painting in all your rooms. I DO TOO!! I have many things on my list of things I have been meaning to get around to. I would say the top one is cleaning the grout on my kitchen, dining room, and entry way. It is exhausting!

Anne, the shark steam cleaner would work really well for that. What do you use?

I have the shark, and it doesn't get it as clean as I want. Oh yes, I use a tooth brush and toilet cleaner. Yes, you read right...toilet cleaner (lysol with bleach). I have tried so many things and this works the best. My grout is almost white...and this hard work gets it back to that color.
